The Michigan Oil And Gas Association (MOGA) represents the exploration,
drilling, production, transportation, processing and storage of crude oil and
natural gas in the State of Michigan. MOGA has nearly 1,000 members of which includes
independent oil companies, major oil companies, and the exploration arms of various utility
companies. (See

Organized in 1934, MOGA, through its Officers and Board of Directors,
monitors the pulse of the Michigan oil and gas industry as well as the
political, regulatory, and legislative interest in the state and the
nation's capital as well. The organization has been described as the collective
voice of the petroleum industry in Michigan, speaking to the problems
and issues facing the various companies involved in the states crude
oil and natural gas business.
Michigan Oil and Gas Association provides a forum for industry
spokesmen and for various state, local and federal officials. In
addition to providing the aforementioned services to its membership MOGA also offers a group insurance plan through its wholly owned
subsidiary MOGA Member Services Corporation.
