The four member categories of the Association follows:

(2) SUSTAINING MEMBER: Any person, firm, association, co-partnership or corporation, or any authorized representative thereof, not owning or controlling oil or gas production or non-productive acreage in Michigan, and who or which comes within any of the several classifications below shall be known and classified as Sustaining Members.

1. Utilities
2. Gas Storage Companies
3. Mineral Well Operators
4. Refineries - Petrochemical Plants
5. Oil, Gas and Product Purchasing & Transportation Companies
6. Gas Brokerage and Marketing Companies
7. Supply Stores
8. Drilling & Completion Contractors
9. Machine & Welding Companies
10. Service Companies 
    
11. State & National Banks
12. Professional Membership
13. All other categories, Minimum Sustaining Membership Fee

(3) MEMBER-AT-LARGE: Any person who is an employee of either a Producing-Acreage Member or a Sustaining Member shall be designated and classified as a Member-at-Large.


(4) ASSOCIATE MEMBER: Any person who is interested in, desires to associate with, keep informed of, and contribute to the work of the Michigan Oil And Gas Association and who is not qualified under any other membership category is eligible to become an Associate Member.
